October's Featured ESL Manual

This month's featured ESL manual is Picture Stories: Language and Literacy Activities for Beginners. You might remember using it during the ESLC Tutor Training. It is a book of pictures that tell a story, like a comic strip without words. They are excellent resources to practice speaking and writing activities with your students. Because there are not any words in each Picture Story, you can use them for students at any English level to teach them the new vocabulary that is appropriate for them! Each Picture Story is followed by several worksheets emphasizing what vocabulary the student learned when talking about the Picture Story.
