Small Group Classes

Our small group classes are offered in locations where our students are already gathered, making it convenient for them to attend classes. We offer small-group classes in apartment complexes, churches, community centers, and at the YWCA. Our class sizes are small so that we can continue to focus on individual students’ needs.

We have partnered with University Neighborhood Partners (UNP) project at Hartland Apartments and the Hser Ner Moo Center at South Parc Apartments to serve refugee communities in those apartment complexes.

We are one of 4 non-profit organizations collaborating with several departments from the University of Utah to provide a comprehensive approach to stability for refugee and immigrant families at a low-income apartment complex on the west side of Salt Lake City. ESLC provides English language support for the adults of the program’s families through volunteers teaching small group ESL classes.
