The ESLC serves adult English language learners (refugees and immigrants) in the Salt Lake County area who cannot attend traditional ESL classes for a number of reasons. Our students are currently from 40 different countries. The majority of our students are women, and about half of our students are immigrants and half of our students are refugees.

Currently, our students are from Afghanistan, Bhutan, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Burma (Myanmar), Burundi, Cambodia, China, Columbia, Congo, Cuba, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Eritrea, Guatemala, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kenya, Liberia, Mexico, Pakistan, Peru, Romania, Russia, Rwanda, Somalia, Sudan, Sudan, Togo, Vietnam and many others.

New Student Registration is from Monday-Thursday from 10-3pm or by appointment
