Help us fill ESLC adult learners' at-home libraries with books!

In the ESLC's Parents Engaged in Everyday Reading (PEER) classes, adult English language learners build their reading skills while learning strategies they can use to support their children’s literacy at home.

Books are at the heart of these classes. Each book gives parents and caretakers an opportunity to practice English, explore new vocabulary and ideas, and build confidence as readers. Just as importantly, parents take these books and the reading strategies they learn into their homes, creating opportunities to read and learn with their children.

Your donation can help put a new book into the hands of a parent and their family. Choose a book from our wishlist and help us build a library that reflects the interests, experiences, and families of the students in our classes. Every book donated goes directly into a PEER classroom where adult learners use it over multiple classes and take the book and the skills they learn home to their families.

Each selection below has a link to follow for easy purchasing. You can have your donation shipped directly to the ESLC office, or arrange for drop off.
