Family Prosperity Initiative

With a healthy community in mind, Salt Lake County Library Services, the English Skills Learning Center, Utah State University Extension Services, the Salt Lake County Office of Innovation, the Guadalupe School, the International Rescue Committee of Salt Lake City, the Refugee & Immigrant Center, Asian Association of Utah, and other Salt Lake County agencies collaborated to form the Family Prosperity Initiative (FPI). These partners have identified the need to provide quality and culturally appropriate programming to build understanding and literacy surrounding financial concepts including basic banking, budgeting, future planning, credit products, and the consequences of utilizing credit in Utah and the United States.
