Whether you’re looking for intensive daily classes, flexible options in your neighborhood, or English training at your workplace, we have a class for you. Our programs support beginning English learners with practical language skills for everyday life, work, and community.
INTENSIVE TRACK
These classes are for beginning students. We offer 10 hours of class time each week, Monday to Thursday. Class options are available in the morning or in the afternoon. These classes are for learning English for daily life.
Monday-Thursday
9:00-12:30pm or 12:30-3:00pm

FLEXIBLE TRACK
These multilevel classes meet 3 to 4 hours each week in locations around the community, such as libraries and schools. They are a good choice for students who want fewer class hours and a location close to home. Classes focus on basic English for daily life. Call our office to find a community class location near you.

CITIZENSHIP PREPARATION
These classes support adult learners as they enhance their English proficiency, civics knowledge, and interview skills to prepare for the U.S. naturalization exam.

EMPOWERING PARENTS
These classes help parents build their English skills while learning how to navigate and engage with the U.S. school system, so they can better support their children’s education.
Currently offered at James E. Moss Elementary, David Gourley Elementary, and the Glendale-Mountain View Community Learning Center.
WORKPLACE TRAINING
The ESLC is proud to partner with local employers to offer English classes at the workplace. These classes help employees improve their English for job tasks and communication at work.
You must be employed by a partner company to join these classes.
