ESLC Named Partner of the Year

In April 2022, Mayor Cherie Wood recognized community members and organizations for their efforts and contributions at the South Salt Lake State of the City Address.

The English Skills Learning Center (ESLC) is honored to be the recipient of the United Way and Promise South Salt Lake 2022 Partner of the Year Award.

United Way, Promise South Salt Lake, and the ESLC have long been partners. The ESLC has worked closely with both organizations to provide free and accessible English language learning classes for adults at Promise South Salt Lake locations, such as the Columbus Center and the Historic Scott School. In addition, the Empowering Parents program collaborates closely with United Way of Salt Lake to provide classes to parents of elementary-aged children at six elementary schools across Salt Lake County. The English Skills Learning Center would like to thank United Way and Promise South Salt Lake for this award and their continued partnership. We look forward to "moving the needle" with you this upcoming year!
