At the ESLC, you'll often hear us say that volunteers will learn just as much, if not more, from their experience engaging with us than the learners participating in English language programming since we place value on providing a meaningful experience for all volunteers. That said, we can't, unfortunately, take all of the credit. The learners who participate in ESLC programming are truly some of the most friendly and hardworking people you will ever come across.
We find that volunteers don't hesitate to share their experience with others since it is often very impactful on their lives. Recently, Susie Boyce did just that by sharing a glimpse into her ESLC volunteering experience with KSL.
